This was a very enjoyable visit! We were visited by Rosie the German Shepherd and Brewster the Sniffer Dog, with their police dog handler, Claire. The children in Year Three, Year Four and Year Five had the opportunity to ask lots of questions about the work of the police dogs in our city.

Did you know that Rosie can run at speeds of up to 36 mph, and s he can track criminals for up to two hours after the crime has been committed.

Claire has promised to come back soon to show us more of Rosie’s skills, and to visit other classes in the school.
